G'Mommy (my stepmom) came out to visit us for about four days. It was so good to have her here. She got to spend some quality time with the boys. We took Ethan shopping for some school clothes. Gosh, that sounds so weird. We also took the boys to the zoo. They have a dinosaur exhibit with more than a dozen gigantic, animatronic dinosaurs. Ethan loves dinosaurs and can name quite a few of them thanks to the dinosaur books that Nana Long and him read all the time. But, once we actually started walking through the exhibit, he was scared to death. And, Jacob rode through the entire exhibit with his hands over his eyes. Just to give you an idea, the T-Rex in the picture was to scale at 45 feet long and 15 feet high. Ethan wouldn't even stand in front of one without a lot of begging so I could get a picture. The exhibit was really cool though. There were all kinds of dinosaur noises, including T-Rex's gigantic roar and they even had a dinosaur that spit water out over the path as you walked by. The zoo was the only time we really pulled our cameras out though. We will have to do a better job of documenting her next visit. And, I hope G'Daddy can make it out next time too. We love you, G'Mommy and miss you already.
