Last minute camping trip

Saturday morning we drove out to LL Stub Stewart State Park in Oregon to hang out with our friends, the Jessups, who were camping for the weekend. We are all going camping there over the 4th of July and we wanted to make sure that we could all fit comfortably on one site. They have a 5th wheel and we are just going to tent camp. We only intended to stay for the day but the boys were having so much fun playing with Braxton and Taylor and we were enjoying cold beers and good conversation with Ty and Tanya so we decided to throw up the tent and spend the night. It was the boys first time sleeping in their new sleeping bags in the tent and they loved it. We cooked burgers, steak and corn on the cob and made smores for dessert. The kids had a blast playing in the stand of trees at the back of the campsite. Braxton is almost 8 and did such a good job keeping an eye on the little guys. I think there's going to be a lot more camping in our near future. The boys are finally old enough that I don't have to worry about their every move around camp.
