Pollard Family Visit

My aunt and uncle came for a visit this past week. It was their first trip out to the Pacific Northwest. They spent the weekends with us and planned some side trips during the week. They went to Friday Harbor, WA to go whale watching (they saw three different pods totaling about 50 Orcas) and they also spent a few days at Mt St Helens. We took them for a drive into the Columbia Gorge one afternoon. It was a gorgeous day for site seeing. That was the same day Ethan relieved himself in the bushes at the brewpub. We also went to the Rose Gardens at Washington Park in Portland. That place was beautiful as it was but had we been a week or two later, it would have been in full bloom. The boys really enjoyed spending time with Rick and Charlotte. They both warmed up quickly and took full advantage of the exta attention. You two are welcome anytime!!
